4 Ways to Save Time Daily
Our nanny has four important chores to finish today. However, she only did two.
And when we asked her what could have gone wrong, she answered, “I don’t have any time left.”
We may have that maid who can’t seem to make the most of her time. As her employer, we can help her accomplish more with these things to remember.
The spaces in our maid’s schedule is precious just as our money is precious! It’s time for her to learn time management.
Eden Grace is here again to share these ingenious simple tips to save time not just for your maid but also for you!
4 tips to save time:
1. Returning things back to its proper places.
Looking for the missing spatula takes away some of the time we have allotted for cooking breakfast.
That important document, when found immediately, could have helped us reach the office on time.
Let’s minimize instances of losing things by putting them back to their proper places.
We can encourage our maid to assign an area for a group of things so she won’t have trouble looking for them.
> Keys, for example, should be in a tray in the living room cabinet for easy access.
> Spices and condiments must be in one space near the stove so cooking can be faster.
2. Doing much when we’re out.
Before we decide to go out to send our boy to school, we have to sit down first and think of all the tasks we can add while we’re out. Why not drop by at the groceries to buy our ingredients?
Multitasking, as we call it!
We also don’t like wasting gas by driving back to and forth to the house. So, when we can, let’s add some errands on the way and make a fewer journey this week.
3. Keeping away from Social Media.
Facebook is really a time hoarder! We say “I’ll just have a quick glance on my news feed.” However, we know it’s never quick!
Our maid, on the other hand, may lose herself in her smart phone while checking all the happenings on her friends’ life back home. As a result, she lost an hour or two of her sleeping schedule. It’s not too late to remind her what should be done.
If these social media apps are devouring our time and keeping us from finishing our chores, then we better uninstall them.
4. Cooking in bulk.
If we, employers, don’t mind eating the same dish for a meal or two, then we can permit our maid to cook in bulk.
Instead of cooking thrice a day, our maid can cook one dish in a greater amount so we can consume it in three meals.
We simply have to remind her she has to immediately refrigerate what’s left and heat it in the oven again later.
These will make our maid do more task and be incredibly productive in 24 hours.
We hope our advice can aid you in training your maid for your better home and wellness!
